Engine turned snuffbox A fabulous and generous sized engine turned snuff or pill box. Set with fine quality gilded hinge and thumb plate. Covered throughout with mesmerizing and finely cut engine turning with intricate rose turned motif to the centre. In good general condition but with a minor hairline crack and a small re-glued section near the thumb piece which is pictured. Circa 1800. Probably French. 7 cm diameter.
