A wonderfully dramatic adjustable stool with a wide and comfortable oak seat above a highly decorative cast iron base. Possibly a piano stool. All in good, original and usable condition. Named to the base Tonk, Chicago and New York. Circa 1880. 37 cm seat diameter, 44 cm high at lowest setting.
