Bone adorned cucumber slicer
A superb mid 19th century cucumber slicer or mandolin. Made from fruitwood or possibly box which has developed a rich and lustrous patina. With original heavily worn bone guides to either side of the blade with fixing screws used to tighten and hold the blade in place. 25cm long, 7.5cm wide.
