Confectioners moulds These delightful fruitwood moulds were probably intended for sugar-paste icing for cake decoration. Each one portrays a range of subjects from flowers, birds and animals, knots and anchors. There is a little indistinct ink writing to the back of each. See the other moulds in the Treen section, they are from the same source. These are carved into thicker fruitwood blocks and show signs of heavy use. 1870 to 1900. 15.5cm tall, 8cm wide, 2 cm thick.
