Face tobacco pot A fabulous primitive folk art burr wood carved tobacco pot, in the form of a bearded face with crumpled hat, rough hewn animated features and glass beaded eyes. A release button in the forehead allows the hinged hat to lift up accessing the contents inside. A knot hole to one side has dropped out and a leather patch has been nailed to the inside as simple running repair. Crafted from red stained birch with a rich dark patination.
