Plane snuff box
An early 20th century novelty snuff box in the form of a woodworkers plane with removable handle and sliding lid. Extremely well made in glowing birch and mahogany timbers, these were often made as apprentice pieces and this example is finely executed. Swedish, circa 1910. 15 cm long, 5 cm wide, 10 cm high.
