Ship Dioramas Always a great favourite these are two good examples, probably late 19th or early 20th century. Both feature fabulously detailed ships in full sail with well painted sky and seascape surrounds. Of particular merit is the ship's figurehead in the larger model and the charming small second ship in the smaller model. These were made as an amusement and recreation by sailors when on board ship.
