Three charming small turned and coopered treen containers used for herbs and spices. All early to mid 19th century.
Dome topped pot: finely turned with painted black band decoration with lovely colour and patina. Stable age crack to one side see photo. 8 cm high. K21.7 BO £60
Pot with knopped lid: finely turned with pink and black decoration and a distinct smell of all-spice. Lovely mellow colour. 7 cm high. K17.1 LE £55
Willow banded pot with lid: Of oak stave construction and a simple locking mechanism to the lid. a small piece of the lid is missing, see photograph. Lapp or Inuit, tastes salty on the top. 6 cm high. SOLD
